We created Velvetail out of a deep love for animals and a desire to help pets feel safe, joyful, and loved. As proud parents of two rescue cats—and longtime caregivers to neighborhood strays—we know just how much pets give to us. This store is our way of giving something back.

Our journey started with adopting a senior cat from VBSPCA and taking in a kitten born to a stray. Over time, we’ve built shelters in our garden, fed outdoor cats, and done what we could to support the animals around us. Pets have always been part of our family, and we believe they deserve care, comfort, and play every single day.
